If you’re new here (maybe you followed a link here from one of our e-zines), feel free to join the conversation. We welcome your comments – they make the conversation more interesting! (All Posts gives you an overview of every blog entry on here, by the way)
If you have general comments or questions, please post them here or send them to me on the feedback form so we can keep the blog entry discussions (somewhat ;)) on-topic.
Everyone else – please welcome any visitors who post here, but please don’t engage in discussions of issues with them in this comments section. Either invite visitors to the discussion board or ask me to repost their comments/questions in a new blog entry, for discussion purposes.

3Initionally reading the 4 agreements one would say it mirrors the Christian view, however looking beyond and reading between the lines it is far from the Truth of God and the teachings of His Son Jesus Christ. Life is not a dream but a reality.. God and His teachings are absoulute. To understand God one must be touched by His Holy Spirit to understand and believe as God would have us to believe. The bible states..”Lean not on your own understanding”…. and He will make your paths straight. There are no gray areas when it comes to God..

4Thanks for your comment, JoAnn. I’m going to copy it to the Four Agreements since it relates specifically to that. I also copied most of it to the new blog entry
No gray areas

5Helen, just wanted to stop by and say hello. I frequent the FC blog (so does my wife – Tam) and I have to say that the conversation here is a breath of fresh air. I just read through the “Scientific Method Overrated” blog and comments and thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. I am going to be linking to your site in hopes that Christians and non-Christians can see an example of discussion and respect.
Thanks!

9Hi, I’ve been reading here for a while, and loving the balanced comments from many.
It’s been hard to fit in anywhere, online, at this stage of my Christian journey, but I see much I can really relate to on here..
I find Brian McLaren’s writings helpful, and the grace from him thirst-quenching.
Rob Bell – Velvet Elvis was good.
Nearly finished Surprised By Hope – N.T. Wright…a little disappointed at the [stronger than I thought there would be from him] Traditionalism and churchiness he holds to which sometimes I felt boxed in how he might have communicated better to a wider ‘audience.’
Been a Christian almost 26 adult years…began as a sort of ‘fundamentalist’ :)[inherited from Christian parents]…never been denominational and mix[ed] with all kinds of Christians.
Many might call me liberal now :)[and do, on Multiply network] – but I am charismatic/evangelical
[but the restrained [mostly] charismatic of the U.K. lol] and hold to the fundamentals of the faith in a deeper, more enriched, way than ever in the last few years…but abbhor much ‘fundamentalist’ rhetoric and attitude…
From B’ham U.K. but support Barack Obama :)
[will swap Gordon Brown for him if anyone can arrange it...Gordon needs a Florida holiday I think]

10Thanks for your comment Marion. I hope you’ll be back. I was in England (i.e. away :)) when you posted, hence the delay before I was able to reply.
I was interested to see all the press about Gordon Brown while we were in the UK. In the US we don’t tend to get much non-US news. Maybe I’ll start reading some other countries news sites/online newspapers more.
