    hilarious!

“I’m tired of living in my father’s shadow” was priceless….

I’m not sure which made me laugh more, that or Hitler in his briefs….

I liked how Jesus kept getting so excited, he’d almost lose control of the car and have to hastily grab the steering wheel … ;-)

Mostly I just thought it was a priceless send-up of the old Hollywood “buddy movie” cliche - turned on its head, in this case. I hope no one finds it offensively sacreligious.

Here’s another thing I’m really finding terrific: The way that YouTube and the other Internet video portals are giving an outlet to so much film creativity that wouldn’t otherwise find an audience because of the prohibitive cost of doing films.

YouTube is a huge, very cool innovation, for sure. I imagine it has copyright attorneys doing back-flips too!

Is this clip a take-off on a specific movie, do you think, or just the buddy-movie, road-trip thing?

I watched the video. some parts really get you thinking. I do think there are some flaws (some of which are deep flaws) in its theology, but it wasn’t meant to be too theological, I expect. Some parts were cooL: Jesus getting excited he suddenly needs to grab the steering wheel. And Jesus accepting Hitler: kind of turns Hitler around as if, possibly, even he were redeemable.

Hitler and Jesus fighting over a girl: No, that was right up there with blasphemy.

Then again: Here’s a question for all: What constitutes TRUE blasphemy: that which truly insults, degrades, mocks God with a wicked heart? Does this video slip into that? At times, but not at all times?

    What are your thoughts?
