If you’ve seen this movie, what did you think of it?
We thought the special effects were fine but the plot was very disjointed. I thought the themes were somewhat interesting; they seemed to be pushing the point that every bad guy is a good guy who fell on some sort of hard times/misfortune which drove him to do bad things. Except the black slime stuff – but that wasn’t human so that doesn’t count.

1I tried posting this before but it didn’t seem to go through. Maybe it was the link. I basically just said that my review of the movie was posted here:

2we went to see Spidey 3 tonight. 4 bad guys in one movie (counting bad spidey) was, IMO, a bit too much. But it did give the special effects guys lots of stuff to play with, and I enjoyed the movie.
My 4 year old was confused about why Spidey, a good guy, did some bad things. As I was trying to formulate an answer along the “even good people sometimes do bad things” line, my husband said it was because the black slime fell on Spidey and made him act up, and he couldn’t control himself…sort of like my 4 year old after he’s had some chocolate.
That explanation was accepted without further comment :)

3Thanks Mike – we agree with you: too many bad guys for one movie!
Julie Marie, now I’m waiting to hear the story about the next time you’re about to eat some chocolate in front of your son and he says “Noooo…don’t do that – you’ll go bad like Spiderman!!”
