Jim is in town

Posted by Helen on: 05.10.2007 /

Last night Steve (my husband) and I had dinner with Jim and his wife Barb and today I went with Jim to meet various people.

It was very fun.

It was fun hanging out with you guys today too! It’s too bad we didn’t have more time to chat.

Mike, I agree. Hopefully next time there’ll be more chat opportunity.

It’s great that you got together, and (bonus) got to meet Barb!

If it seems appropriate to share here, any CatE-pertinent topics that came up in conversation?

    Anyone convert anyone else? ;-)

Hi Eliza, thanks for dropping by!

Yes, I was very happy to meet Barb. I’d wanted to meet her for a long time. I very much enjoyed her – she’s smart, interesting, fun, chatty – what’s not to like about a persone like that?

As far as I know there were no conversions that day. Although all that really means is, no one admitted being converted. ;-).

CatE worthy conversations…hmmm…I have to say, this was a day when I wasn’t thinking “ooooh, what can I blog?” because these were private meetings. That doesn’t mean I couldn’t say anything about them but I want to be careful and respectful. Mike Clawson was at one of the meetings and he’s blogged about a comment Jim made. (In my opinion what Mike wrote was appropriate)

Anyway the question about CatE-worthy topics is a good one; I’ll need to think about it.

I wish I’d had my camera at Tyndale because I’ve never had lunch in a room with so many Bibles in! It had two or three book cases full of every edition of each Bible they publish.
