Jim and Casper on the radio tomorrow

Posted by Helen on: 05.17.2007 /

Jim and Casper are going to be on Open Line tomorrow evening. It’s a one hour live call-in show at 8 p.m. CST. You can listen live over the internet, or later, if you go to the Open Line archives page.

I’m pleased because it’s on a network I used to listen to all the time, which is national but based here in Chicago: the Moody Broadcasting Network. I still listen to sometimes. Just because ;-)

If you heard the live call-in show with Thor Tolo, it won’t be at all like that. Chris Fabry the host is very respectful and I’m sure he’ll let Jim and Casper talk about Jim and Casper go to Church.

Jim and Hemant will also be on a show tomorrow: they’re going to be on KSTP at 12 p.m. CST.

I have now listened to both interviews and as with other interviews I have listened to with Jim, Matt, and Hemant - thank you for your frankness, respect for each other, and for sharing your perspectives.

I love that these conversations are breaking down sterotypes about atheist and Christians. As long as negative sterotypes exist, it keeps us from each other. (true for race, religion, gender, rich, poor, etc.) That which divides us - keeps us from embracing what is alike about us.

Can we start having these conversations with Jews, Muslims, and everyone else who believes or thinks differently than ourselves?

It was easy to listen to your conversations - as opposed to the “debate” I heard earlier this week. The debate was very painful.

    Keep the conversation going! Thanks.

Hi Elaine, I’m glad you were able to listen to them. I did too.

I think it’s a great idea to have conversations with other people who think differently from us. I think someone said on one of the shows that it’s enriching - I absolutely agree!

Rachel, I was wondering that too but forgot to ask!
