New offthemap.com site

I don’t know whether you know I’m currently website manager for Off The Map (Justin is webmaster – I don’t know enough technical stuff to have a role like that).

I don’t like to use the title much because I don’t feel very qualified to be website manager. Anyway I’m excited because over the last few weeks I’ve been working with a website designer, Josh Brown (who is Josh of the Nick and Josh podcast, by the way) on a new ‘home’ site for Off The Map, which I’ve wanted to do for ages. And it’s now up!

The new site hopefully is much easier to navigate. We streamlined it a lot. It links to the other places we’re on the web like flickr and youtube. It has a ‘tumblr’ feed option – meaning, if you sign up to the tumblr feed that will give you all the feeds from all our sites.

One part isn’t finished yet: Justin is helping us get the store ready (it’s quite a complex piece of programming). We hope that final piece of the site will be open very soon. Once it is we will have a brand new product in there for pre-order: a companion DVD and discussion guide for Jim and Casper go to Church. This is currently only available through us.
