Ah man! I hadn’t heard. This really makes me sad. :( My husband and I had the chance to go see him in concert a few years ago. He definitely wasn’t “politically correct,” but there was a method to his madness and he wasn’t the callous jerk that he made himself out to be.
Rest in peace, George. Any body else depressed with the people who have died in the last couple of weeks? Tim Russert, Cyd Charisse, and now George. *sigh*
Very apropos selection - I heard the news the George “passed away” and was sad. I heard it on the radio and they played some “edited” clips ;-) My kids didn’t laugh nearly as hard as I did. I think George would prefer that we laugh instead of cry now that he’s gone. Thanks for posting this.
