Benjamin I was especially relieved to read your comment because after I saw your July 4th post I thought “Wow, I should have posted something serious and thoughtful for the (US) holiday like Benjamin did!”
I thought the sort of opposite thing when I saw your post–”Oh goodness, I wrote far too seriously and heavily. Helen has accomplished so much more by posting this lighthearted brilliant thing that manages to ever so gently and mockingly say much what I said, only 10 times better.” I guess Rachel would tell me “Benjamin, stop the cycle of self-abuse”. I’m glad we’re both here and both making our own excellent contributions to the general conversation. =)
Thank you for an early morning laugh! Actually took several days away from the mind-numbing screen, so caught this first thing Monday morning…what a great way to start the week!
I am new to your post(found it at Off the Map) - thanks for making me think.
Beeker was doing the piccolo part, at least in the part after Sam the Eagle speaks for the second time. It sounds like he’s using some other character’s inflections, probably Fozzie’s.

1ROFLMAO! That was great.
My favorite part was Beaker going “Meep meep, meep meep” in rhythm in the background, but he’s always been my favorite Muppet.
Thanks for a laugh this morning. :)
